Why did I write this book?

How search engines work, how SEO works within companies, functions in the area and fundamentals about target audience and content planning.

Do I need any tools?

No. I have geared all the content towards pillars and principles that don’t require tools.

Will I learn how to implement SEO?

Short answer: No
Long: You will learn concepts that you can use during your implementation, but since this is a beginner book I did not cover execution since many people reading this will not work directly on the SEO implementation.
